Dear Parents/Carers,

Many of you may well be somewhat anxious following Boris' announcement regarding Year 6 returning to school after half term.

Please be absolutely assured that we are looking extremely rigorously and cautiously at exactly how we might go about welcoming our Year 6 back to school.

We have been very careful and measured in our approach to the crisis exemplified by our skeleton school and we will retain this approach.

There will be very clear protocols and safeguards in place for any children and staff in the building, outlined well in advance.

Naturally we will all have worries and many questions that we will want the answers to. I would ask that you try not to spend too much time worrying and instead, give us the time we need to start to draw up our plans.

We will provide you with details of our plans next week, to ensure that you have 100% confidence in how we are proceeding and in the safety measures which will be in place to protect staff, your children and families of both from any further spread of the infection.

Thanks for your support in ensuring your child completes all school work set. Staff and students are asked to keep all communication between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Google Classroom is the only exception to this rule as it is a live stream, so it can't be saved, but please do still try to keep to the 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. if you can. We must avoid students and staff receiving notifications about work too early or too late at night. Certainly messages should not be posted before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. This is to support both your and the students' well-being.
